The 9th Dr. Minati Hazarika Memorial Annual Lecture was held on 16th September 2026 at the Williamson Magor Auditorium, VKIC Complex, Guwahati. The programme began at 5:35 pm with the arrival of the Guest Speaker, Ms. Anuradha Sharma Pujari, along with Dr. Gautam Borah, Prof. Shiela Bora, Director, VKIC, and Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Rana Pratap Kalita, Vice-Chairman, VKIC. VKIC office staff members and other invited guests and attendees were also present.

The programme started with the Mangalacharan Prayer. Ms. Alankrita Mahanta from VKIC formally introduced the programme and welcomed the guests and attendees. This was followed by the Welcome Address delivered by Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Rana Pratap Kalita, Vice-Chairman, VKIC. After the welcome address a chorus was presented by Ms. Minati Barman and her team.

The Guest Speaker, Ms. Anuradha Sharma Pujari, and Dr. Gautam Prasad Baruah were felicitated by Prof. Shiela Bora. A brief introduction of the guests was given by Ms. Alankrita Mahanta, VKIC. Following the felicitation, Dr. Gautam Prasad Baruah delivered a brief address. The VKIC Magazine, Quest, was then released on stage by the esteemed guests. Following the magazine release, the Guest Speaker, Ms. Anuradha Sharma Pujari, delivered her address on the topic “.” Her address concluded at around 7:30 PM. After the address, Prof. Shiela Bora delivered the Vote of Thanks, expressing her gratitude to the Guest Speaker, dignitaries, organizers, staff members, and all those who attended the programme.
